Join WVLA on the Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (no, it is NOT a library) tour, at 6pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2010. Cost is $25.50 per person at the asylum. If you make it through, the tour should last about 1.5 to 2 hours.
Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum (aka Weston State Hospital) is a popular ghostly destination and was recently featured on the program Ghost Hunters.See if the lunatics really ARE running the asylum – or if it is merely head spook mistress of the dark, Judy Rule!!! Thrills and chills are guaranteed to run up and down your spine as you experience paranormal activities, hunt for ghosts and things that go bump in the night. Bring your cameras, videos and recorders to document what will be a most memorable (if not screaming scary) two hours.If you can make it back to Stonewall, the Halloween Costume Party will be in full swing from 830ish on into the deep dark night! Come dressed in costume (or not).There will be live Karaoke, so practice, practice, practice!!!
